Signal-peptide complex (Pal-GHK + Pal-GQPR). Studied for collagen and dermal-matrix support.
01 · Overview
Matrixyl 3000 is a trademarked blend of two signaling peptides — palmitoyl tripeptide-1 (Pal-GHK) and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 (Pal-GQPR). Originally developed by Sederma, it is one of the most cited signal-peptide complexes in the dermatological research literature.
Published work has examined its effects on collagen I/III/IV upregulation, fibronectin deposition, GAG synthesis, and dermal matrix assembly in fibroblast cultures. Alvar supplies it as a lyophilized powder for topical formulation research.
02 · Handling
